MAY 2010
May 14, 2010: Last day at XLD.
JANUARY 2010
Building an offline database of strategies. Subscribed to DLN Group's premium services so I can take advantage of the Technical Analysis Stock Screener. Raising capital to start trading!
DECEMBER 2009
I've been doing a significant amount of analysis but just not posting them online.
NOVEMBER 2009
Just about starting to implement technical analysis on Indian stocks. Thinking buying a technical analysis software- probably Spider Iris. iCharts is a really good free service too- but just not as good as optionsxpress.com
OCTOBER 2009
SEPTEMBER 2009
Limited access to the internet.
AUGUST 2009
Aug 6: First NIFTY Analysis
Two spot on forecasts- DJIA 9100 and BKX.
JULY 2009
July 27: Relocation to India Confirmed.
No major site updates- Busy with Job Search. Would have loved to document the Continuing H&S pattern on the DJIA. Too Late now.
Financial Analysis: ATTN Recruiters: Yes I am skilled at corporate financial analysis as well!
EUR/USD: My first ever analysis of FX. FXCM rocks!
Blogs and Reports: Get the blogs rolling. Gain some visibility on the net and steer traffic to the BASE.
JUNE 2009
June 29, 2009: Whats up DJIA? And you VIX?
CFO Manual: Let's strengthen my fundamentals
June 24, 2009: iFramed my hardwork from Economic Feel.
June 16: Bought a Domain Name! The breeding ground for technical analysis- Technical Analysis Base
June 15: Configured Google Analytics!
MAY 2009
Last month of my MBA. Was getting grilled by Professor Grudnitski for my consulting project with SDSU Busines & Financial Affairs. Amazing Prof he is.
APRIL 2009
April, the month where I got some heavy duty metal for the site.
April 22, 2009: I call it the MARATHON. I shut myself from the outside world and analyzed a ton of stocks in one stretch.
An analysis takes me anywhere from 5-15 minutes, but at least 15 minutes to document it and publish it!
April 21, 2009: Said to myself, "You know what..this is fun. Does this lead to the end of the rainbow?" Thinking about it now, it probably does if I develop a sound philosophy, discipline, procedures, and keep my emotions in check.
April 14, 2009- Lets get the Sector Indices Going. Sector components possibly move in herds. If I can determine where the sector is heading, then I can do the same for its fundamentally sound components as well.
DJIA Forecast Performance Measurement pleasantly surprised me. The results were not bad for a self-taught technical analyst who paid no attention to the fundamentals, but only listened with his eyes to the OHLC bars on the computer screen.
MARCH 2009
Stumble across Stock Trader's Almanac and fall in love with Sector Seasonality. Now I can use a statistically significant study to narrow my tradable universe.
FEBRUARY 2009
Continuing with the DJIA. Getting some good results as well.
JANUARY 2009
I started testing my technical analysis skills by analyzing the DJIA. AAPL and RIMM- my two favorites. Did not know even Cramer boasts so much about them.
DECEMBER 2008
After building the skeleton of Economic Feel, I decided to pursue Technical Analysis to be able to determine the technical strenght of investment alternatives.
